Who is behind it

Eolinet Renovables is 50 % owned by Vida Sustainable Ventures, a venture builder in energy, renewables and infrastructure. Vida does not invest and wait: it starts companies from scratch, takes an operating role inside them and stays until they stand on their own. Nine companies built to date and one sold to a sector multinational. You can see it at vidaventures.es.

The rest of the founding team comes from the wind farm itself: more than fifteen years running wind turbine operations and maintenance inside a large utility. That is to say, from the side that buys this service and knows exactly why it gets postponed.

That combination explains how the service is built. We are not selling a technology. We are removing downtime and a safety exposure that the O&M manager already has on the board.

How we operate

We work with drones (RPAS) flown from the ground by accredited pilots. The cleaning platform is adapted by a Spanish industrial partner specialised in unmanned systems, with its own pilot school and aviation regulatory experience. That origin sets the documentation standard we bring on site, which is the standard any large utility asks for.

Aviation permit handling and public liability cover for the operation are part of the service. The client files nothing.

Prequalification

We are prequalified as a contractor for a major Iberian utility, having cleared its health and safety, insurance, audit and pilot documentation requirements. That file is kept live and is submitted to any supplier onboarding process that calls for it.

Where we work

We operate at wind farms across Spain, from our base in Mairena del Aljarafe, Seville. For campaigns in Portugal and the rest of Europe, get in touch: the crew travels, and we review the administrative requirements country by country before committing to a date.
