Full turbine cleaning
Blades, hub, tower and nacelle in a single intervention.
Full, blade, tower and nacelle cleaning with ground operated drones, at wind farms across Castile and León. One working day per machine, with nobody at height.
Castile and León holds a large share of Spain’s older wind fleet, and that changes the job: on machines that have gone years without an intervention, the first clean is recovery rather than maintenance. It shows up in flight time and product consumption, which is why it pays to look at the real condition of the machines before fixing the scope of a campaign.
The dominant soiling here is agricultural: tillage and harvest dust, which binds differently depending on site humidity. It builds up mainly on the leading edge of the blades and on the upper section of the tower.
Winter is the other variable. Frost and low temperatures affect how the product behaves on the surface, so campaigns work better between spring and autumn. That is an operational preference rather than a limitation: the date is always confirmed the week before, based on the forecast.
We cover wind farms across Burgos, Soria, Palencia, Valladolid, Zamora, León, Salamanca, Ávila and Segovia. The crew travels from Mairena del Aljarafe (Sevilla) with all technical resources: water, pressure equipment, compressors and degreasers.
Mobilisation and demobilisation are included from 4 turbines per campaign. If you manage several sites in the region, grouping them into a single campaign is what brings the cost down most.
Blades, hub, tower and nacelle in a single intervention.
The most exposed surface, cleaned from the ground.
The complete shaft, with no scaffolding or platform.
The outer housing, with nobody accessing it.
Photographic reporting per machine, to prioritise.
The full comparison, including what the drone does not solve.
Yes. We cover Burgos, Soria, Palencia, Valladolid, Zamora, León, Salamanca, Ávila and Segovia. Crew mobilisation is included from 4 turbines per campaign.
Around 3 weeks from confirmed order, which is what the aviation filing takes. At sites with no aviation constraints it can be considerably less.
The turbine held in maintenance position, with yaw and pitch controlled by the site, and preventive sealing of the nacelle. Everything else is ours.
Three data points are enough: number of turbines, location and rotor diameter. We come back with a fixed price per machine and scope within two working days.
